A man is desperately seeking a place to hide a dead body. Is it his victim? His comrade? His lover? As he achieves his purpose, he also realises that he isn't alone in that desolate barren land.  

In Paraguay, a country where people going missing during the time of the dictatorship has long been unspoken, EL BALDÍO revisits an obscure matter to find hope. Based on a short story by Paraguayan writer Augusto Roa Bastos.
